WaterSound Beach

The most private, most natural stretch of 30A — Gulf-front, preserve-wrapped, and quietly spectacular.

East-Central 30A

Where 30A goes quiet

WaterSound Beach is 30A at its most natural and private. This Gulf-front community is wrapped in coastal preserve and dune lake, its homes set behind the dunes with an understated, organic architecture that lets the landscape lead. The pace is slow, the beach is wide and uncrowded, and privacy is the point. One note for buyers: “WaterSound” is a big name that spans several neighborhoods — WaterSound Beach, the Gulf-front community with the private boardwalks, is not the same as WaterSound Origins or the inland Prominence area, which don’t carry that private beach access. If getting to the sand matters to you, we’ll make sure you know exactly what a given address includes.

The Setting

Wrapped in preserve and dune lake

What sets WaterSound Beach apart is the nature around it. Rare coastal dune lakes and protected preserve border the community, and the boardwalks cross the wetlands on their way to the Gulf. Deer Lake State Park sits right at its western edge. It all adds up to a beach that feels wild and remote — even though you’re steps from home.
