This website, 30ashores.com, is operated by Team Turner at Counts Real Estate Group — Darrell and Angela Turner, licensed Florida real estate agents with Counts Real Estate Group, Inc. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and how to tell us to stop. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, and we have tried not to claim anything we do not actually do.
What we collect
What you tell us. When you fill in a form on this site — a question about a property, a home-value request, a saved search, or a message through our contact page — we collect what you type: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your message, and which property or search you were looking at. We also record the date and time and your IP address.
What your visit tells us. We keep a record of which property listings get viewed and when, tied to a randomly generated visitor token stored in your browser. That token is not your name and we cannot turn it into your name on its own. If you later create an account or send us an inquiry from the same browser, that history becomes associated with you, and we use it to understand what you are actually looking for before we call you.
If you create an account. Saved searches, saved properties, your email and alert preferences, and the record of alerts we have sent you.
Text messages
This section matters more than the rest, so it is the most specific.
We will only text you if you have ticked the consent box on one of our forms. The box is never pre-ticked, it is never a condition of hearing back from us, and an unticked box is recorded as a “no” rather than as an absence. We store the exact sentence you were shown, word for word, along with the date, time and which form it came from.
- What we send. Replies about the property or question you contacted us about. Every message is typed by a person, one at a time, to someone who contacted us first. We do not run automated texting, drip sequences, bulk sending or marketing campaigns, and we do not intend to.
- How often. Message frequency varies and is generally low — it depends entirely on the conversation you are having with us.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
- Consent is not required to do business with us. You can decline texts and still work with us exactly as before. We will call or email instead.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. The only companies that touch your number are the ones that carry the message on our behalf, and they may not use it for anything else.
We use your email address to answer you, to send property alerts and market reports you have asked for, and to stay in touch about your search or your sale. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can manage what you receive at any time from the email preferences link at the foot of any message we send. Unsubscribing from alerts does not stop us replying to something you have asked us directly.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
We share it only with the companies that make this site and our business work, and only so they can do that job:
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database
- Our email delivery provider, which sends the messages we write
- Our telephone and messaging provider, which carries our calls and texts
- Google Analytics, described below
- Akismet, which checks form submissions for spam
- Counts Real Estate Group, Inc., our brokerage, where a transaction requires it
We will also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your saved searches, and hold the visitor token described above. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move around the site; it sets its own cookies and Google’s handling of that data is governed by Google’s privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site — your account and saved searches in particular — will stop working properly if you do.
Property information
Listing data on this site comes from the Emerald Coast Association of REALTORS® and the Central Panhandle Association of REALTORS® under license. It is provided for consumers’ personal, non-commercial use, and it is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. It is about properties, not about you, and it is not collected from you.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe or email preferences link at the foot of any message.
- Calls: tell us and we will note it on your record.
- Your data: email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We may need to keep some records where Florida real estate law or our brokerage’s record-keeping rules require it.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection, administrator accounts require two-factor authentication, and access to our systems is limited to the two of us. No system is perfect and we will not claim otherwise, but we do not collect payment card details on this site and we do not ask for Social Security numbers through it.
Children
This site is intended for adults looking at property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will say so rather than leaving you to spot it.
